# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It takes almost no effort but feels like a warm hug on a plate.
  • You probably already have everything you need in your kitchen right now.
  • The crispy, buttery crust and gooey center hit every comfort food craving at once.
02 -
  • Medium heat is your friend, high heat will char the bread before the cheese even softens.
  • Softened butter spreads cleanly, cold butter rips the bread and melts unevenly in the pan.
03 -
  • Press gently with the spatula while cooking to help the cheese melt faster and create better contact with the pan.
  • If the bread is browning too fast, lower the heat and cover the pan with a lid for a minute to trap the steam and melt the cheese through.
